Vikki joined Western Counties in January 2013 as a Saturday groom whilst completing an animal care course. Since then she has completed her equine veterinary nurse training in 2020 and now helps lead our team of equine nurses. Vikki’s favourite aspect of nursing is the practical day to day care of the hospitalised horses as well as assisting with the treatment of racehorses both in the hospital and out on the yards. She has the responsibility for managing medicine stocks for the Hospital.
Outside of work Vikki has many equestrian interests including following racing alongside training and eventing her ex-racehorse and working her Labrador in the hills of North Devon.
